Our worship services come right out of our four Core Values as a church. You can expect messages that are founded in the truths of the Bible. We strive to devote ourselves to one another with times of fellowship, prayer, singing, readings, and Communion, which we take every week. We are a small church with few staff so we rely heavily on our people giving of themselves in crucial areas of ministry such as: setting up our facility each week, serving in our children’s ministry, participating on the worship/technical team, joining our welcome/hospitality team, or serving as an usher, just to name a few. We believe that this is the way the church was meant to work so that through serving one another we can unlock our God-given potential for the ongoing of His kingdom.
Our worship style blends worship songs and readings from our present with the ancient hymn, choruses, and creeds of our past. All of our worship community participants are volunteers that give their time and talents to bless our church and community.
You are always welcome to bring your Bible, a pen, and notebook, but we put the morning’s scripture, song lyrics, and readings on the screen and provide sermon notes and space to write in the bulletin. So feel free to just bring yourself.
We want everyone to feel comfortable at our church as we help to create an environment of grace where no one needs to pretend. When you join us on a Sunday morning you will see people wearing anything from jackets, ties, and dresses, to shorts, jeans, t-shirts, and flip-flops. We have multiple photos from Sunday mornings posted on our Facebook page.
A kid’s welcome table is set up at the main entrance staffed with a team leader who can answer your questions and guide your family to the appropriate classrooms if you choose to have them participate. If they join you in corporate worship, we do have a bible-based activity available which can also be found at the kid’s welcome table. Children are part of the covenant family, and God calls upon His covenant people to corporately come before Him in worship. We encourage parents to bring their children into the service at an early age. If there are 5 Sundays in a month, that 5th Sunday (or “Family Worship Sunday” as we like to call it), our K-5th class stays for the whole main service. A special bulletin for that Sunday will be available to encourage participation.
